Our approach to upgrades allows you to take advantage of your in-house expertise coupled with our experienced consultants to achieve a long term partnership that will allow you to complete a successful upgrade.

Terillium begins the journey with an upgrade planning session. There are many options that must be discussed prior to beginning the journey:

Should you upgrade? Not every company needs to upgrade right now. We will help you decide if an upgrade is right for you.
Which release should you upgrade to? We will discuss the Pros and Cons of the various potential software releases and recommend the best option.
What features and functionality should you implement? We discuss all enhancements in the latest releases and help you determine what functionality makes the most sense for your organization.
What about Fusion? Is this the proper time to move to Oracle’s Fusion Middleware? We will help you understand Oracle’s product strategy and make recommendations.

Once the upgrade planning session is complete, we will provide a detailed road map and project plan. Our role in the project at that point depends on your company’s needs. Terillium has the skills and experience to execute an entire upgrade from end to end. However, most of our clients have expressed a strong desire to do much of the upgrade work themselves – to save money and to keep the knowledge in-house. Many clients have internal resources and are in a position to handle most of the upgrade process. Terillium is willing to play as little or as large a role in your upgrade as you want.
